We are pleased to announce that CASAA’s Board of Directors recently elected Bruce Nye as President of the Board and Jennifer Berger-Coleman as Vice President of the Board. We are also excited to announce that Jim McDonald has joined our Board of Directors.
Jennifer joined the Board in 2016 filling the newly-created position of Director of Community Outreach (a position which she continues to hold). Jennifer’s current work in the healthcare field, as well as her experience in advocacy involving civil rights and healthcare issues is invaluable as CASAA continues to reach out to populations and communities where smoking rates remain disproportionately high.
Jim McDonald is a writer and editor for Vaping360.com, where he focuses on news about legislative, regulatory, and scientific issues in the vaping space. Before that, he worked in sales and management for 25 years. In 2012, Mr. McDonald quit a 38-year smoking habit in about two weeks with a primitive vaping device, and wondered why every smoker wasn’t doing the same. He became a CASAA member soon after.
CASAA’s leadership team, as confirmed at our last board meeting:

Bruce Nye, President of the Board
Jennifer Berger-Coleman, Vice President of the Board and Director of Community Outreach

Brian Carter, Director of Scientific Communications and Board Member
Doug Carter, Information Systems Administrator
Kristin Noll-Marsh, Member Coordinator (Staff)
