CASAA Announces New Board Members

The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association is pleased to announce some welcome additions to our Board of Directors!

Doug Carter has more than 40 years of experience in the computer industry. His breadth of expertise encompasses nearly all aspects of computer technology: Software engineering, system architecture, project management, system and network administration, sales and marketing, customer education and end-user support. As Director of Information Systems, Doug has been managing and maintaining CASAA’s invaluable information systems and computing infrastructure.

Danielle Jones has worked in the vaping industry since 2013 as a graphic designer and writes for Vapun Magazine. In 2015 she created a series of videos on YouTube called “The Truth About Vaping” and served on the Board of Not Blowing Smoke (2016-2017). Danielle’s passion for harm reduction and advocacy, and experience creating educational graphics for circulation on social media, in addition to researching and writing articles on the politics and misinformation surrounding vaping, is a valuable addition to CASAA’s leadership.

Chad Jones quit smoking in 2009 thanks to Swedish Snus and would go on to launch his own product review website and YouTube channel. He has organized Snus Con since 2017, spreading awareness of snus and advocating for tobacco harm reduction. His addition to CASAA brings us his expertise in low risk, smoke-free tobacco products and his extensive background of various levels of political activism including community organizing, lobbying, and campaigning for smoke-free alternatives.

We hope you will all join us in welcoming Doug, Danielle and Chad to the CASAA leadership team!
