IN THE NEWS: FDA nominee Dr. Stephen Hahn has moved forward in the nominee process. He responded to committee pressure to “deal with” vaping by saying decisions “need to be guided by science and data, congruent with the law.” We agree! And as a cancer researcher, we hope he appreciates the proven effects of Tobacco Harm Reduction products! Dr, Hahn still needs to be confirmed by a Senate vote, which has not yet been scheduled.

RESEARCH: This time the mice are on our side! Study findings suggest even flavored vapor doesn’t increase the risk of pneumonia (in mice.) Of course, there are hundreds of thousands of human vapers, who have vaped for years without getting pneumonia, too!
