CALL TO ACTION // New Hampshire Update
Good news! In Depth New Hampshire has reported that “After an hour-and-a-half of testimony, mostly from owners of vaping shops or distributors,” the Senate Commerce Committee voted 4-1 “to kill a bill that would have banned flavored e-cigarettes and e-cigarette cartridges, except for menthol.”

RESEARCH // Improving Vaping
Unlike in the US, where they cherry-pick data or biasedly report results to justify vapor product bans–with no concern for the devastating impact such bans have on adult vapers–UK researchers are looking to make vaping even more effective.

RESEARCH // Youth Tobacco Use
Review confirms that youth with a parent or close friend who smokes are most at risk to start smoking. A compelling reason not to close the smoking “off ramp” of vaping for adults in a vain attempt to close the “on ramp” for teens trying vaping.
Drugs cost money, but cigarettes u can bum from ur chain-smoking dad 4free (this is called Smoker's Privilege)

I didn't smoke in high school but I assume people knew the stores that didn't card, their parents or grandparents smoked and they swiped the cigarettes or their older siblings got them cigarettes. Probably a combination of all three.

PUBLIC HEALTH // Exposing Anti-Vaping Bias
Dr. Oz says vaping causes “same problems” as smoking, yet none of the studies cited actually support that claim. One study compared cigarettes to marijuana, one study looked at vapers who still smoked and the last study mentioned did not establish cause!
Careful, Dr Oz says things like "smoking and vaping" … like saying "Lawn Mowers and the Star Ship Enterprise"#VapingSavesLives is 95% safer than smoking; therefore dangerous to demonize unfairly.

PUBLIC HEALTH // Anti-Vaping Lies Continue
Although majority of adults who currently smoke/vape started with unflavored cigarettes & availability of flavored vape products coincided with record low youth smoking, Erika Sward, the assistant vice president of National Advocacy for the American Lung Association, continues to lie, claiming that flavor bans will help stop youth experimentation.
The ALA has launched a website loaded with lies. They claim that
1. youth vaping rates rapidly increase, completely ignoring that the numbers declined by 30%.
2. there's evidence about health risks on the lungs.
3. it's a gateway to smoking
4. it doesn't help to stop smoking.— Sonja Marx (health = human right) (@SonjaMarx9) September 10, 2020
It was only a matter of time before a doctor would t review the evidence on vaping then MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT IT!
Dr. John Oyston has had enough of the lies!
